The Ersamed REF-402 ankle brace is made of neoprene, which is friendly to the patient's skin - thanks to the use of internal perforations that allow the skin to breathe freely. High Stabilization Efficiency - Thanks to the use of double-crossed VELCRO we get excellent stabilization of the ankle and foot. The bandage has a semi-open design, is very easy to put on, does not slip or move when walking.

The support of the REF-402 brace allows you to move without pain, despite the injury. With every step you take, anatomical silicone pads massage your ankle joint. The pressure micro-massage performed in this way improves blood circulation and reduces swelling. Thanks to silicone inserts, the product fits securely and comfortably on the limb.

The REF-402 ankle brace is used to treat overload of the ankle joint in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, as well as in case of joint degeneration. Two custom-fitted compression pads at the medial and lateral malleolus promote resorption of hematomas.

Material: neoprene 70%, polyester 30%

The material is characterized by softness and high elasticity. The part of the body under the orthosis is ventilated and the appropriate warming is maintained. This is not a woven material, it does not have coarse fibers, it does not rub the skin. The material is waterproof.

Indications:

• in rehabilitation after injuries of the ankle joint and tarsus (sprains, fractures), treated conservatively and surgically
• joint swelling due to osteoarthritis or arthritis
• tendomyopathies
• with severe degenerative changes in the ankle joint and tarsus, accompanied by significant pain
• after injuries of the Achilles tendon, treated conservatively and surgically (rupture and rupture of the tendon, inflammation)
• post-traumatic or degenerative ligamentous weakness
