The bandage is used in the treatment of epicondylitis, occupational diseases of athletes. Lateral epicondylitis (inflammation of the lateral condyle) is often called "tennis player's elbow", and medial epicondylitis (inflammation of the medial condyle) is called "golfer's elbow", since representatives of these sports suffer most often from these diseases. The bandage allows you to relieve tension from the area of the condyles with the help of an anatomically shaped pneumatic cushion, which is attached to the arm with a special strap. With the help of a measuring scale, you can control the degree of pressure by tightening or, conversely, relaxing the strap.
