The derotational boot puts the foot in an intermediate position and also prevents rotation in the hip joint.

The foot and lower limb are supported by stabilizing straps. A derotation triangle is mounted on the front of the device, which can be used to adjust the position of the foot during external or internal rotation of the lower limb.
